Answers To Frequently Asked Questions

Should I remove my own wallpaper?

We do not recommend that you remove the wallpaper. Depending on who put the original paper up and how the walls were prepared, you might cause damage that would end up costing you more in repairs.

What brand or type of paint do you use?

We generally use Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, Scott Paints, Kilz and Minwax, the decision is ultimately up to you. Whichever brand we choose will be their top of the line product to insure the finest quality.

Do you use subcontractors or will your company do the work?

Our company and crew will do all of the work. The only times we use subcontract-ors are for a job that requires a different specialty skill.

When buying paint, does higher price mean better quality?

Yes, a big factor in determining the price of paint is the binder they use, the type and amount affect everything from adhesion to gloss to stain resistance. A more expensive paint can be expected to produce a greater film thickness when dry. A better quality of paint can double the life of your paint job.
